RAISING THE STANDARD IN CRITICAL CARE PRACTICES

OUR VISION

We envision ICU Forum Program to be the premier scientific summit and a platform of competitive education among Physicians and Allied Healthcare Professionals by 2022. It aims to foster excellence, systematized communication, and professional collaboration towards a multidisciplinary approach.

Our Mission

We believe that a collective educated knowledge from our experts will bring quality treatment and management to ICU settings. Thus, the ICU Forum commits itself to the administration of extensive medical activities for Physicians and Allied Health Professionals working in the ICU.

WHO WE ARE

There have been widespread efforts to improve health service delivery in the country. However, there is still a disparity in the availability of comprehensive healthcare systems. Likewise, the company has long recognized the scarcity of Intensivists, training institutions, and clinical updates, especially in remote areas. Hence the ICU Forum for MDs was launched last 2016 by Delex Pharma International Inc. (DPI) Marketing Department to at least address such unwanted healthcare management insufficiency in the Philippines.

The ICU Forum is a Continuing Medical Education (CME) Training Program trademark of Delex Pharma. It is a “Train the Trainers” program, which is a community of Intensivists and adept Physicians. It provides an advanced multidisciplinary approach among ICU specialists to treating and managing critically ill patients. The program is administered through a series of interactive lectures and workshops facilitated by Medical Doctors and Intensivists from different hospitals nationwide. It keeps the healthcare professionals attuned to the relevant medical and scientific updates.

The Critical Care Summit is committed to raising the standard in critical care practices among health care providers. DPI takes pride in founding this avenue on contributing informative insights to physicians and healthcare professionals working in the ICU.

The leaders of the Summit pursue to gather top-caliber doctors who deal with adult critically ill patients. The program has been instrumental to healthcare professionals, especially physicians, as it provides comprehensive medical education activities. With ICU Forum, they are now abreast of the latest and evidenced-based critical care practices. It has now marked the series of continuing medical education activities geared towards the improvement of healthcare services in the critical care field.

Meanwhile, the first-ever Critical Care Leaders’ Summit was conducted last September 10, 2016, with the theme “Forum on Sepsis and Septic Shock.” It was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Ortigas with one hundred (100) delegates coming from different parts of the country. The ICU forum continues to expand its reach as it opened a convention for Pharmacists in 2018. The forum team was grateful to more than a hundred participants who attended the symposium.

In 2019, the first joint ICU Forum for Nurses and Pharmacists took place in collaboration with Critical Care Medicine of the Philippine Heart Center. It is to address the growing number of interested nurses and pharmacists, along with the increasing demand for critical care-related knowledge that is crucial in the healthcare field.

True to our mission, the ICU Forum has continued its activities despite the onslaught of the COVID-19 pandemic. The advantage of technology has paved the way to even extend its reach to more than 1500 health care providers nationwide. A one-day event has successfully become a series of webinars. The online symposium primarily tackles the relevant interventions and timely topics to further educate the healthcare professionals in addressing the health crisis. It was overwhelming that the various medical experts from well-known health institutions have willingly shared their knowledge.
