From November 23-25, 2023, Delex Pharma proudly supported the 55th PSA Annual Convention, where we showcased our cost-effective and quality anesthesia product portfolio, especially IBUPROFEN I.V (INTRAFEN) and our soon-to-be-available DEXMEDETOMIDINE (PREDEX). In collaboration with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, we streamlined the S2 license renewal process for medical doctors, ensuring a hassle-free experience.

In addition to our commitment to professional excellence, we added a touch of fun to the convention by introducing a photo booth for attending medical doctors. This allowed them to capture and cherish memorable moments from the event. The leaders of the Summit pursue to gather top-caliber doctors who deal with adult critically ill patients. The program has been instrumental to healthcare professionals, especially physicians, as it provides comprehensive medical education activities. With ICU Forum, they are now abreast of the latest and evidence-based critical care practices. It has now marked a series of continuing medical education activities geared towards the improvement of healthcare services in the critical care field.

Meanwhile, the first-ever Critical Care Leaders’ Summit was conducted last September 10, 2016, with the theme “Forum on Sepsis and Septic Shock.” It was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Ortigas with one hundred (100) delegates coming from different parts of the country. The ICU forum continues to expand its reach as it opened a convention for Pharmacists in 2018. The forum team was grateful to more than a hundred participants who attended the symposium.

In 2019, the first joint ICU Forum for Nurses and Pharmacists took place in collaboration with Critical Care Medicine of the Philippine Heart Center. It is to address the growing number of interested nurses and pharmacists, along with the increasing demand for critical care-related knowledge that is crucial in the healthcare field.

True to our mission, the ICU Forum has continued its activities despite the onslaught of the COVID-19 pandemic. The advantage of technology has paved the way to even extend its reach to more than 1500 health care providers nationwide. A one-day event has successfully become a series of webinars. The online symposium primarily tackles the relevant interventions and timely topics to further educate the healthcare professionals in addressing the health crisis. It was overwhelming that the various medical experts from well-known health institutions have willingly shared their knowledge.
